Continuing our partnership with Woodbine Public Library, we held a Christmas Story Time on Tuesday! 70 children, parents and grandparents were delighted when Santa arrived in time to hear the story!
I read The Mitten by Jan Brett, which is a beautifully illustrated book based on a Ukrainian folktale. Afterward, I gifted a copy of the book and a candy cane to every child who attended. Santa helped with passing out the books!
The children also had the opportunity to write letters to Santa, color candy cane pictures, construct with Magna-Tiles, and take photos with Santa for a wonderful afternoon full of Christmas spirit. What a blessing!!! Thank you to the librarians for helping to put all this together & for inviting Santa to join us!
